ABSTRACT:

In this article, we will discuss about the case study in forensics. We will study the some notable cases in forensic sciences. Some criminal cases in forensics are more complex and create a hype of fear and interest. We will discuss some of these cases here for illustration. We will describe, how we solve the complexities of the criminal cases by using forensic techniques.

INTRODUCTION-CASE STUDY IN FORENSICS:

Forensic science plays a crucial role in solving crimes by providing scientific evidence that can help identify perpetrators and bring them to justice. Over the years, numerous criminal cases have captivated the public’s attention due to the groundbreaking forensic techniques employed. This article explores several notable criminal cases where forensic science played a pivotal role in unraveling the mysteries and securing convictions.

1. THE TED BUNDY CASE (1970s):

Ted Bundy, one of America’s most notorious serial killers, was eventually brought to justice through the use of forensic evidence. Bundy’s crimes spanned multiple states, and forensic experts played a crucial role in linking him to the crimes. Bite mark analysis, dental impressions, and hair analysis were instrumental in identifying Bundy as the perpetrator. This case highlighted the importance of forensic science in connecting criminals to their crimes. (Reference: “The Ted Bundy Case: A Forensic Breakthrough” – The Guardian).
